Little Lloyd Lost It
Thank GOD and the british public he's gone!

Now being honest, I didn't watch the XFactor this week (due to the untimely exit of John and Edward!) So I'm just typing based on what I've heard. According to my 11 year old sister (in-between crying) "Lloyd.... was....... AMAZING...... *Sob* .... He Should...... Have...... W-woo-wwwoo-wwwonnnn" Yeah, whatever you say Cadhla! But come on, he was so bad! Just like the X Factor....
This season is so boring (apart from jedward) Like Seriously! No one person left in the competition seems to have a personality or two brain cells.... Like lets talk about Stacey, sure she can sing pretty good, but she's so hard to understand! "mmeeee and mmyyyy soooonnnnnnn plllllllaaaaayyyyy ggggammmmmmeeeeeees" ... Yeah ok cool stacey.... cool..... And then there's Danyl.... Well he's been compared to Hitler so there's not much more to say about him..... Olly, he's just weird! And who's the last one..... Hmm.... Oh yeah Joe, the most boring and forgetable person ever.... Yeah he's by far the best singer, but snooooze!
Yeah that's pretty much it... Oh Stacey apparantly Dumped Olly, Danyl has been given out to again by Simon Cowell, X factor Bosses, Stacey's Dad AND his own mother... The Guy just doesn't realise what a plank he is! Annnnnnnnd I'm gone....
WAIT Jedwarrrrd ;)
OH SHIT..... I RIPPED MY PANTS Hahahahahah loooove you john!

Factors to consider when buying a Pc or Laptop.
What Should A Student in Applied Psychology Consider When Buying A Pc Or Laptop.
What should people consider when buying a PC or Laptop? Well as a student there are many factors to take into when buying a PC or Laptop. The most obvious factor to take into account is:
Where and When will you be using it?
As a student you would need to bring it to and from college. Now obviously dragging a Pc into college isn’t exactly a good idea, which makes a Laptop the best choice for a student in my course. Also if you get a Pc it means you have to sit at a desk or table when using it. If you use a laptop however, you can use it while relaxing on the couch or in bed which makes it way more comfortable!
Also a student must consider the weight of the Laptop. There is no point buying a Laptop that is too heavy and won’t be carried around. Try and look out for a laptop that has all the features you need, but is also as light as possible.
The next factor is the second thing that springs to a student’s mind;
Price.
Money for most students is pretty much non-existent! To get the best kind of laptop you can it’s going to cost a small fortune! When buying a Laptop, you need to have a price range for yourself. Shopping around is so important, because you don’t want to pay €700 on a Laptop in Pc World, when you could of gotten it for €650 in Harvey Norman!
The next factor you have to consider is what you’re going to be using the Laptop for.
What Will the laptop be used for?
If you’re only going to be using it for internet and Microsoft word for example there is no point spending a lot of money on a laptop that can play all high-spec games. If you are in a creative course, Like us in our Multimedia Module, you need to have a laptop that has the means to use programs such as Adobe.
Wireless Connection.
Internet connection is very important for people in our course. Different Assignments and lectures are available online, so it is important to have a laptop that can connect to wireless internet if that is the internet available. It is handy to have the wireless connection on a laptop because in college there is wireless accessibility available to us.
Store Warranty/ Manufacturers Guarantee.
Probably not a factor that springs to mind. From my own personal experience I have found that you need to buy a Laptop somewhere that if something does go wrong with it, the store is helpful. A Laptop does so much and has so much software, it is likely something will go wrong. So again shop around and find a store that will give you a good warranty on your laptop.
Battery
Battery life is really important to think about! People need to get laptops within their price range with the best battery possible. Imagine how bad it would be if you didn’t have your charger with you and you’re battery runs out? It would not be good.
Memory
When buying a laptop you must consider how much memory you’re going to need. Generally the more memory the better! You’re going to have a lot of files to save on it, so you need to get a big memory based laptop in order to be able to hold all those files without having a space issue! Having a good size RAM is important.
Reviews
Make sure to read what people who actually have the laptop have to say about it. If you like a laptop look up what problems or lack of problems people who have used it have to say about it. This way you’re getting first hand advice about the Laptop and it may influence your decision on wither to buy it or not.
When I joined Applied Psychology these were the factors I took in account when buying my Laptop. I think they are the most important factors.

Area Of Technology Article Two ;)
Link to the Article:
http://www.india-server.com/news/emails-may-die-out-with-the-rise-of-16989.html
This is the second article I looked at, and suprise-suprise it's about Facebook! Sure everybody loves Facebook a little too much so why not! This article looks at how E-mail may be completely wiped out because of social networking site Facebook, and Similar ones like Twitter and Bebo.
Basically what Professor David Zeitlyn from University of Kent(ohhh Kent, Very Posh!!) is saying is that because social networking sites are easier and more accessible people will use them to contact people instead of sending an E-mail. Because Social Networks have IM features and features where you can comment your friend quickly and easily, nobody is going to bother spending more time writing and sending an E-mail.
It apparently took 20 Years for E-mail to become as popular as it is today, yet it could take just half that time for it to become non-existent! However a man by the name of Dan Grabham from TechRadar believes that E-mail won't be completely forgotten about, it will instead just be used for important purposes like sending important E-mails, or files to somebody.
Maybe it's just me, but I hardly EVER use E-mails. It's too slow and official for sending useless information to friends. I think that E-mail probably will be forgotten about except for important things because I'd rather have an employer or teacher or somebody not know my facebook, because Facebook is more for friends and socializing, rather than important stuff!

Not only is Facebook quicker at sending messages to people, it's more fun! When you're sending an E-mail to somebody, you can't Farm your crops on farmville, or do random questionairres or look at photographs. On Facebook you can do all this and much more which makes it more attractive for people to use!
In conclusion, See-ya later E-mails, Facebook Wins :)
Area Of Technology Article One :)

http://mashable.com/2009/11/25/facebook-marketing-ikeas-genius-use-of-photo-tagging/
So firstly, what is Facebook?!
Facebook is a social networking site that almost everybody has, even my old pair have one for keeping in contact with friends! It started up in a dorm room in Harvard Uni (very smart ;)) and over the past 5 years has gained over 300 million members. It's sort of taking over the world! Most people go on it everyday to talk to friends, find out about social events, 'farm' their crops on farmville, and pretty much just friendly stalk people and photographs!
Now, back to the article!
Basically the article is about how IKEA used Facebook to promote their new store opening up in Malmo, Sweden and to advertise their products.
Waiiiit, what IKEA?!
Only messing! We all know IKEA is the best international home products retailer to come to Ireland (take that Lidl) and sells flat-packed funiture around the world!
So anyway...
The article tells us how IKEA used the wonderful features of Facebook to advertise their new store in the most modern of ways! Basically what they did was they set up a Facebook account for the Store Manager of the new Malmo store. Over a two week period he upload photographs of items IKEA where selling, and picture of their showrooms.
So after they set up the page, they started a competition, and sure what person can say no to a competition?! The first person to tag their name on an item of furniture in a photograph on the page, won that item of furniture! Very nice. So people being competitive and if like me, in love with free stuff, started tagging away at all photos in hope of winning the free stuff!
A handy Facebook feature is that whenever you tag a photo of yourself or somebody else it shows up on the Live Feed page where all of your friends can see it. So by tagging yourself, your friends all see the photo, and of course want to win free stuff too. So then your friends tag themselfs in the photo, and the their friends see it and tag themselfs and it becomes one big tagging competition and millions of people end up seeing the photos and tagging themselfs...
IKEA=WIN.
While people are having fun tagging and winning, the real winners were IKEA, 'coz for every tag they get on a photo it's another possible customer for them and more people seeing that their is a new store, and all the products. Facebook meant free advertising for IKEA!
Here's the video provided by the article that shows how the campaign worked:

Sugar.....
I somehow managed to remove like, all of my Blogs apart from one about Simon Cowell being hot. . . What's with that?!
Dammit... Now I'm going to have to do the whole thing again.... Stupid Blogs -_-
I'm Aisling Turner ;), 19, Doing Applied Psychology in IADT, and this blog is being made as part of my ICT module!
So what can you expect from this blog?! ..... Nothing ;)! Seriously, blogging and the whole correct english grammer and smart ideas thing isn't really my forte! So this Blog will probably end up being about the Xfactor.... And Jedward.... And my lack of enthusiam for Blogging... Yeah....
Like really, if I somehow came up with a creative idea about anything, the last thing I'm going to want to do is share it with my two followers! Haha two followers, I'm popular!
Oh, oh, I was told I should call my Blogs "What Aisling Did Last Night"! Lol! Now that would make an interesting read! for the live show you can catch me in Bakers every thursday!
Seriously, I have NOTHING to Blog about.... How long are these supposed to be? How do people actually write these all the time?! And not cringe when they read them back?!
Ok, I've decided that my Blogs will be about any random idea that pops into my head between binge drinking :) Or even funnier are drunken Blog! Ha I love drunken writings! Classic example "no i mo havig a toe time!" From last week! Niiiiiiice!
Oh and My name is NOT Aisling Alco.... Who ever came up with that Cough Aine Cough is not cool.....
And Vest's are so hot on guys.... TBH!
